Wednesday, October 15, 2025
19:00-21:00
Social Innovation Experimental Center, Large Conference Room A, 107
The global wave of sustainability is inevitable. How can the arts and culture industry move beyond passively responding and proactively become a driving force? This lecture will begin by discussing the origins of ESG and SDGs, explaining their core concepts, and guiding participants to examine which areas our team already possesses and is actively practicing. Furthermore, it will analyze the sustainability reports required of companies, helping partners understand their structure and requirements, and considering how arts and culture expertise can contribute to this effort.

PANDA Guest Chat: "Triangle to New Collaboration between artistic, agency and market?"
Saturday, October 12, 2024
19:30-21:30
NPO HUB Taipei
We invited Wofgang Hoffmann from the German agency AURORA NOVA and Jerry Remkes, Executive Director of the Dutch dance company ISH, to share their experiences in the international market. Jerry shared his experiences and perspectives, from his role as a presenter at a Melbourne arts institution to his current role within a Dutch dance company and his relationship with his agency. Wolfgang shared his journey from early involvement at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to becoming a touring agency collaborating with teams from different countries. He discussed how to think about the "market" within these relationships, and how creators and producers can adapt their communication to the changing "context." He also touched upon how creators, managers, and producers define and consider their own position and national context, and whether to participate in the international market, and what kind of market it is—all of which require a clear self-assessment.
